A10ción

The goal of A10ción is to bring “attention” to social themes covered in The House on Mango Street that are ripe for discussion. The students will inform the public on what’s the buzz with the help of electronic circuits.

Gallery Exhibition

The project was ambitiously executed with the dedicated students & staff of Instituto Thomas Jefferson in Querétaro, Mexico.

Operation Balboa
The human body was divided into about 200 gift box sized sections and 13 participating Middle & High Schools created a high resolution (anatomically detailed) "Operation" style game of that section of the body. All of the sections came together (in an AIDS quilt type fashion) at the San Diego Science Festival (now USA Science & Engineering Festival), that brought together over 50,000 attendees from all over the county, state, and even the world to visit over 200 different booths and watch over 25 science-related performances.
